About Fabricent

Built by people who got tired of hearing "no" from IT.

Fabricent started from a frustration most data engineers know well: you need to get something done, you depend on a dozen people to make it happen, and the answer is always "no." No budget. No bandwidth. Not in the roadmap. Not this quarter.

So we built the tools ourselves. Open-source, MIT licensed, no strings attached. If you can run it on your own, you should. If you'd rather hand off the operations to someone who knows the product inside outβ€”that's where we come in.

We don't gate features behind enterprise tiers. We don't make you talk to sales before you can try anything. The code is yours. We charge for our time and expertise, not for access to software.

What We Believe

πŸšͺ

No Gatekeeping

If you need a tool, you should be able to use it. Not file a ticket, wait three sprints, and get told "it's not in the roadmap."

πŸ“–

Docs Over Sales Calls

We'd rather write a good quickstart than schedule a demo. If you can't figure out our product from the docs, that's our problem.

🀝

Honest Pricing

The code is free. If you want us to run it for you, that costs money. That's it. No "contact us for pricing" games.

Build What's Missing

Every Fabricent product exists because we needed it and couldn't find it. If we didn't use it ourselves, we wouldn't build it.
